EcoHaven Privacy Policy

About this policy

This privacy policy applies to the EcoHaven Android application (package name com.ecocorp.ecohaven). EcoHaven is published by Eco Systems LLC and operated under the EcoCorp brand.

EcoHaven is a launcher and on-device interaction environment. The current release does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or sensitive user data with Eco Systems LLC or third parties.

Information EcoHaven accesses on your device

Some EcoHaven features require access to information held by Android. This information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted off the device.

Installed apps and widgets

EcoHaven reads information about launchable apps and available widgets, including app names, icons, package names, and widget-provider information. This enables the launcher, favorites, app organization, protected-app selection, and widget features.

Notification access

If you voluntarily enable notification access, ecoPulse reads active notification information such as the originating app, title, visible text, category, and posting time. EcoHaven uses this information only to organize and display notifications on your device. Notification content is not sent to Eco Systems LLC or any third party.

App activity and accessibility

If you voluntarily enable usage access or EcoHaven's accessibility service, EcoHaven can identify which app is in the foreground and measure local app usage for user-configured app limits and protected-app behavior. The accessibility service is configured for window-state changes and does not retrieve the contents of app windows. This information remains on your device.

Settings and security information

EcoHaven stores your preferences, favorites, organization choices, widget configuration, app-limit settings, and security selections locally. If you create an EcoShield passcode, EcoHaven stores a salted cryptographic hash rather than the passcode itself. EcoHaven does not create or maintain an online user account.

Permissions and user choice

Optional system access is enabled through Android settings and can be revoked at any time. EcoHaven may request or direct you to settings for notification access, usage access, accessibility access, launcher status, and wallpaper functionality. EcoHaven continues to provide features that do not depend on access you decline.

Data collection and sharing

EcoHaven does not include advertising, analytics, remote crash reporting, behavioral tracking, or third-party data-collection SDKs. The current release does not have Android Internet permission and does not transmit user data to Eco Systems LLC or third parties.

Data retention and deletion

EcoHaven's settings and feature data remain locally on your device until you change or remove them, clear EcoHaven's app data, or uninstall the app. Android's app-info screen can be used to clear all locally stored EcoHaven data. EcoShield also provides controls for changing or deleting a locally configured passcode.

Because Eco Systems LLC does not receive or retain EcoHaven user data, it has no corresponding server-side user data to delete.

Children's privacy

EcoHaven is intended for users aged 13 and older. EcoHaven does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

Security

EcoHaven minimizes privacy risk by keeping supported user and device data on the device, disabling Android cloud backup for the app, and avoiding advertising and tracking systems. Device security also depends on Android, the device manufacturer, and the user's own device-security settings.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when EcoHaven's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an updated policy is published. Material changes will be reflected in the app and its Google Play disclosures as applicable.
